Once again our politicians are the enablers of the 1% dirty swamp and multi nationals.
If people want to survive this continous onslaught of the middle class the middle class has to learn to use the 1% dirty swamp & multinational ways of doing business.
If you want to invest in housing and you’re just starting off don’t buy a single family home or don’t live in it, rent it out, you will be able to benefit from all the tax breaks you get and there are numerous setups that will decrease or increase your tax breaks. What’s important here is that you end up with a positive cash flow. The other IMPORTANT thing is that once you have that property and positive cash flow you’ve protected yourself against yearly housing inflation, you don’t have to play catch-up. When you decide that you are ready to move into your own home then you have options of borrowing using your investment property as collateral. The other important thing is not to get too attached to your property, every few years flip your property and upgrade or downgrade according to your needs. Remember your principal residence is tax free so far take advantage of this option while you still can. With our politicians who are enablers of the 1% dirty swamp and multinationals one never knows what the politicians will do.
